Suffering in Silence

Phil Gramm said we aren't really in a recession. He went so far as to call us a nation of whiners. Well, he's wrong. Many of us have been suffering...but in silence. For example, I've been sharing a cell phone charger with Ron for over three months, since I left mine in the room at the MGM in Las Vegas when we were there on vacation back in March. No one should have to do that. And I'm only having my nails done every three weeks now instead of every two weeks like I used to. And I cut out the pedicures all together. That's very sad. And I've cut way, way back on my Starbucks. I only go once or twice a week, as opposed to every day. I mean, really. We even stopped Weedman from treating our lawn. That was hard. And I may have to give up my XM radio. How much more proof of a recession does he need?
